How to obtain and provide your banking information for your MIC investment

Hosper processes all interest payments electronically. This means we deposit funds directly to your bank account every month. In order to ensure we are sending money to the correct account,

we need your bank account details. You may hear us ask for a void cheque; what we really need is the account details, not the cheque itself. In today's world of online banking, all major banks offer this information for download at no cost.

Simply follow these 5 steps to obtain & provide your banking details.

  1. Login to your online banking.
  2. Select the desired account.
  3. View Account Information, Account Management, or a similar heading.
  4. Look for a link to download a "Direct Deposit Form," "Pre-Authorized Deposit (PAD) Form," or "Void Cheque" (Example: TD Direct Deposit Form).
  5. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. the downloaded PDF document and we will save it on file for future uses.

Hosper can process payments to any financial institution in Canada, however, smaller banks may experience longer delays. We recommend using an account from a major Canadian bank (TD Bank, RBC, BMO, CIBC, or ScotiaBank) to receive your Hosper payments.

You can switch bank accounts any time by emailing your updated account information to Scott Stevens, Hosper’s registered MIC dealing representative,* at This email address is being protected from spambots.
